iHeartRadio Sits Down with Adam of Owl City!!

Young says snagging the "Call Me Maybe" starlet to sing for their hit was easier than expected. "Our managers grew up together and, unbeknownst to me, Carly had been a fan of what I do for a while," Adam tells iHeartRadio. He remembers when he introduced himself and proposed the catchy collabo: “She wrote back, 'I know who you are, I've actually been to two of your shows!' So it's kind of like a dream come true, it just happened."
We were curious, what constitutes a good time in the land of Owl City? We asked Young what he thinks are the necessary ingredients for a definite good time...
"Pizza is one…" (Can’t argue with him there)
His iPod: "When I go around and live and travel everywhere, I spend a million hours in airports. I have to have like a soundtrack to my life in my ears at all times."
The Ocean: "I love the ocean. I grew up in the Midwest so it's like the furthest place from the ocean. We have lakes there, lots of lakes, land of 10,000 lakes so it's sort of not the same, so the ocean is a good time."
…the dishes? "The dishes in my house have to always be done. I'm like this OCD guy about it and its kind of fun to me, its sick but – like there can't be a spoon in the sink or I can't sleep; I can't relax. It's kind of like a good time washing dishes which is weird." (read more)

Avril Lavigne Engaged to Nickelback's Chad Kroeger!!
Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's relationship has been so quiet that few even knew they were dating. Now, after a six-month courtship, the Canadian rockers are engaged to be married, Lavigne's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Lavigne, 27, and Kroeger, 37, first got together in February to co-write a song for Lavigne's upcoming fifth studio album.
"A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together," a Lavigne pal tells PEOPLE.
On Aug. 8, Kroeger popped the question, presenting Lavigne with a 14-carat diamond sparkler.
"He makes her so happy," a family source tells PEOPLE. "Both of their families could not be more excited."
It will be Kroeger's first trip down the aisle, and the second marriage for Lavigne, who split from Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in 2009. She had also dated Brody Jenner.

Not only does Parker, a fashion icon since her days rocking Carrie Bradshaw's Manolo Blahniks on Sex and the City, look radiant, but Chris Colfer is seen sporting a modern (and much more aerodynamic) new 'do. Elvis would be proud!
Parker, 47, will recur this season as Kurt's boss at Vogue.com. She joins fellow A-list guest star Kate Hudson, who is playing Rachel's demanding new teacher at NYADA.

Lea Michele Tweets New Photo on Set!!
Check out this new photo Lea Michele tweeted yesterday on the set of Glee. All signs point to this being a photo from the second Britney Spears tribute episode which will air within the first month of Season 4. The caption reads "Oh baby baby" which are lyrics to a song Ms. Michele already performed back in Season 2. She's posted another photo with the caption "It's Britney b*tch" which likely means Rachel and her NYADA friends will be dancing and singing to "Gimme More". I CAN'T WAIT!!

Great Britain's Tom Daley Wins Bronze!!
Tom Daley, one of Great Britain's most popular athletes, won the bronze medal in the men's 10-meter platform diving event. It's the first Olympic medal for Daley, who made his Summer Games debut in Beijing when he was just 15 years old.

Mika Tells Instinct, “Yeah, I’m gay.”!!
The only problem was that the story, which he calls “disappointing,” didn’t clear things up at all because it wasn’t exactly what he intended to say.
Earlier this week, in a world exclusive, Mika sat down with Instinct to set the record straight (so to speak): “If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it’s only through my music that I’ve found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life.”
