Natalie Portman, Colin Firth Are Top Oscar Winners!!

The Oscars paid royal tribute to The King's Speech, honoring the drama about King George VI as Best Picture and shining gold upon its Best Actor Colin Firth, Director Tom Hooper and Screenplay writer David Seidler.

"I have a feeling my career's just peaked," Firth said on the stage of Hollywood's Kodak Theatre Sunday night, at the 83rd annual Academy Awards.

The British actor was so excited he admitted to "experiencing stirrings … in the abdominal region that are threatening to turn themselves into dance moves."

Natalie Portman, as the troubled dancer in Black Swan, was named Best Actress. "This is insane," she said in her speech. "I truly, sincerely wish the prize tonight was to work with my fellow nominees. I am in such awe of you." (read more)

Godric Returns in Season 4 of "True Blood"!!

You already know that True Blood‘s upcoming fourth season will feature witches, werewolves and more Nan Flannigan. But here’s what I’m fairly certain you don’t know: It’ll also mark the return of vampire legend Godric!

TVLine has exclusively learned that Allan Hyde will reprise his role as Eric’s late, forever young-looking maker when the HBO drama resumes this summer.

The duration and exact timing of his stint are unknown. It’s also unclear what form the onetime vampire sheriff of Area 9 will take given that he succumbed to the worst sunburn in history during season 2. (He returned briefly from the great beyond in the season 3 finale to deliver a message to Eric.)

Blood EP Alan Ball isn’t offering too many clues, except to say that fans will see “a different side of Godric.” (source)

Glee's First-Ever Original Songs Debut!!

The talented stars of Glee have covered the songs of superstars like Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Madonna. Now the Fox hit is creating its very own music.

Two original songs written for the show premiered Friday on Ryan Seacrest's Web site.

"Loser Like Me," which features all of New Directions, is a "Gleek anthem," music producer Adam Anders told Entertainment Weekly. "It's a very uptempo, kind-of-summery hit." Perfect for spring!

The second song, "Get It Right," is more of a power ballad and who better to take that one on than resident diva Lea Michele.

"Lea's storyline kind of inspired that song for me," Anders says. "Basically, you try to do everything right and you have good motivations with everything you're doing but everything ends up going wrong. How many times will it take for me to get it right?"

Britney Spears Leaks Snippet of New Song, 'Inside Out'!!

The Britney Spears media onslaught continues. Less than 48 after premiering her long-awaited new video "Hold It Against Me," the pop princess leaked a 10-second snippet of her rumored second "Femme Fatale" single, "Inside Out."

Dr. Luke, the song's producer, initially posted the teaser to Twitter and Spears re-Tweeted the link on Friday with no additional comment. (read more)

Prince Harry To Be William's Best Man!!

It will be all in the family for Prince William and Kate Middleton, who Monday morning announced their wedding party.

As was widely predicted, Kate, 29, has chosen her sister Pippa as her maid of honor – whose job, it is stated, will be to make sure the bridal gown is displayed properly and the young wedding party is kept in line – while Prince Harry will be his brother's best man, the palace announced.

For royal watchers, the real treat may be in observing the young friends and royal relatives who will make up Kate's bridal party. Among them are Lady Louise Windsor, 7, the daughter of William's Uncle Edward and his wife, Sophie Wessex. Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8, is also from the wider Windsor clan. She is the daughter of Queen Elizabeth's nephew Viscount Linley and his wife, Serena. (read more)

"The Amazing Spider-Man" to be Released July 3, 2012!!

Columbia Pictures announced today that the title of the next Spider-Man film will be The Amazing Spider-Man.

The studio simultaneously released a photo of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man, the first shot of Garfield in the famous full mask and suit.

The film, which is now in production and is being shot entirely in 3D, will be released on July 3, 2012. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the Marvel Entertainment production for Columbia Pictures. The executive producers are Stan Lee, Kevin Feige, and Michael Grillo.

Lady Antebellum, Arcade Fire Win Big at Grammys!!

Country stars Lady Antebellum represented for Nashville and had a very good night at Sunday's Grammy Awards. The six-time nominees collected five awards, including record of the year and song of the year, for their megahit "Need You Now."

"We just cried our eyes out backstage," Charles Kelley said on stage at L.A.'s Staples Center while accepting record of the year. "I can't believe we're standing up here again."

Meanwhile in an upset, rockers Arcade Fire bested Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, Katy Perry and Eminem, winning the night's biggest honor, album of the year, for their third album, The Suburbs. The band, who performed a rollicking version of "Month of May" earlier in the telecast complete with bicycle-riders, immediately took the stage again and sprinted through an anthemic version of "Ready to Start" after collecting their award from Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz & Pete Wentz Split!!

Don't expect a bitter fallout between Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who filed for divorce Tuesday after 2½ years of marriage.

"It's very amicable. They're on very friendly terms and speaking – it's fine," a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. "They've just grown apart. They've been growing apart for quite some time."

"It's all about [their 2-year-old son] Bronx for them. They're fantastic parents – Pete says she's a great mom, and she says he's a great father," says the source. "It's about Bronx's care and well-being and happiness for them."

There was no third party involved in the split, and Simpson-Wentz, 26, and Wentz, 31 – who has been touring with his new band Black Cards – continue to sort through their emotions, according to the source.

"They're both really sad. It's a sad ending to something that was really promising," says the source. "They're each trying to figure out what this transition is going to be like."
