Britney and Madonna's Liplock Named Top Kiss of the Decade!!

Madonna and Britney Spears' infamous smooch at the MTV Video Music Awards has been voted the top kiss of the decade.

The two superstars made headlines around the world after they puckered up at the annual ceremony in 2003, and U.K. department store Selfridges has branded the kiss the most iconic of the 2000s.

Tobey Maguire's passionate embrace with Kirsten Dunst in 2002's Spider-Man came second in the rundown, while Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's slow-burning snog in Brokeback Mountain in 2005 was named third. (source)

ABC Cancels Ugly Betty!!

Say goodbye to Betty Suarez and the stylish staff of Mode magazine. ABC announced Wednesday that Ugly Betty has been canceled.

“We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion,” executive producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson said in a joint statement. “We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”

Mark Indelicato, who plays Betty’s nephew, Justin Suarez, called working on the show a learning experience. “It’s been an amazing four years,” Indelicato, 15, tells PEOPLE. “I’ve learned so much from the wonderful actors I have worked with. It’s sad to see this come so unexpectedly but I think that we all recognize the tremendous work that we have done — and am very grateful for that.”

The show, which stars Emmy-winner America Ferrera as the style-challenged fashion magazine staffer, is in its fourth season.

Based on the popular Colombian soap Betty la Fea, which has inspired dozens of versions of the show around the world, the ABC hour-long comedy premiered in September of 2006.

Lady Gaga Hits New York Like a Rocket!!

Lady Gaga sure didn't look – or sound – tired.

Following the cancellation of four previous shows due to exhaustion, the pop sensation unleashed a high-energy performance in New York Wednesday night as part of her Monster Ball Tour, and delivered the first of her four sold-out performances at Radio City Music Hall.

The singer, 23, put on quite the show for her hometown crowd, which included Sting, wife Trudie Styler, Donald Trump and, according to a source, Madonna and daughter Lourdes. She opened with "Dance in the Dark," wearing a costume featuring lightbulb-like adornments, followed by "Just Dance," with her playing a keytar and strutting onstage like a human disco ball.

"This, New York, is my first of four dates with you. So tonight I might not go all the way," Gaga teased her audience before making a sexually explicit remark that drew roars.

Concertgoers, many in their own outrageous Gaga-esque outfits, were equally tireless throughout the show. They were on their feet for the duration, dancing and singing, effectively transforming the iconic locale into a pulsating nightclub. Gaga balanced out the visual- and production-heavy show with her powerful voice in the ballad "Speechless" and a torchy revamp of "Poker Face."

Later, after putting a gay-friendly spin on "Boys Boys Boys" in a red bikini outfit, Gaga advised the crowd: "Don't you ever let anybody tell you that you can't be whatever you want. I was the little girl from New York that felt like a freak in high school."

The 67th Annual Golden Globes Winners!!

Rain from the skies over Southern California and tears from an emotional Meryl Streep could not dampen spirits at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's 67th annual Golden Globes Awards from Los Angeles on Sunday.

Streep won her leading actress award for Julie & Julia and compared the indomitable spirit of her mother to that of master chef Julia Child, whom the acclaimed actress plays in writer-director Nora Ephron's movie.

The Blind Side star Sandra Bullock won the dramatic leading actress Globe for her portrayal of the real-life Leigh Anne Touhy, who brought a homeless high-school student into her family. Bullock said that the Touhys taught her that a family is made up of those who have your back, and she thanked husband Jesse James for having hers.

She also told her American family to put down the Makers Mark, and her German family – in perfect German – to brush their teeth and go to bed.

Robert Downey, best actor for the comedy Sherlock Holmes, thanked his wife Susan for telling him Matt Damon would win. Dramatic acting winner Jeff Bridges, for Crazy Heart, told the audience as it rose to its collective feet, "You're really screwing up my under-appreciated status."

Though the Globes – which honor both TV shows and movies – are not considered an accurate barometer of the Oscars to come, other notable winners on Sunday were supporting actors Mo'Nique in Precious and Christoph Waltz in Inglourious Basterds, best comedy picture The Hangover, best dramatic picture Avatar and its director James Cameron.

Cameron said he thought his ex-wife, Kathryn Bigelow, would, in fact, win the director award, for her Iraq war drama The Hurt Locker. "She deserved it," he said. (read more)

Josh Holloway’s Sexy Cool Water Shoot!!

Josh Holloway is venturing into modeling again, stepping in front of the camera for the second time for Davidoff Cool Water cologne for the scent’s newest campaign. The ads will feature the 40-year-old star looking tanned, buff, brooding and shirtless with the sea as a backdrop — just like his character Sawyer on Lost. “I am very honored to represent Davidoff Cool Water again for this new campaign.

Cool Water represents power, masculinity and freshness. That’s what the ocean is to me. The power of Cool is back!” says Holloway in a statement. The Hawaii resident and extreme-sports fan continues, “I love Cool Water because it is simple, powerful and timeless. To me, the Cool Water man is not someone who is trying to be cool, he is someone who is comfortable with his masculinity.” The campaign was shot by famed fashion photographer Mikael Jansson on the luscious beaches of Hawaii, with the ads breaking this week.

Glee Romance Report: Will Emma and Will Couple Up?!

SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Get ready for a full-blown Gleek-out! Not only are the stars of the FOX’s hit musical comedy singing to PEOPLE about plot twists and guest stars — Olivia Newton-John! Idina Menzel! More Kristin Chenoweth! — the show’s launching a nationwide talent search to add gifted future stars to the cast.

FOX executives have revealed that in February, the network will begin scouring the country for undiscovered talent between, ages16 to 26, to fill three new roles in the show’s newly announced season 2. The search will be documented in a multi-part reality special, which will culminate in the unveiling of the new cast members on Glee’s season premiere in the fall.

“We were going to do a nationwide search regardless,” FOX president Kevin Reilly told reporters Monday, noting that some of the original cast,
like Chris Colfer, were discovered that way. “So we decided to let the audience in as a part of that. There will not be formal voting. The audience will not decide, but the audience will certainly participate. They will give us their opinions on who they want and who they like.”

READY FOR ROMANCE?
When Glee returns April 13, will choir director Will (Matthew Morrison), who was distraught after discovering his wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) faked her pregnancy, be on a fast track to romance with guidance counselor Emma (Jayma Mays)?

Not so fast, says Mays, who attended FOX’s Winter TCA party. “[Series creator] Ryan Murphy said that it’s his job as a writer to keep us apart,” she says. “I was like, ‘Actually, you know what? That’s right and that makes sense.’ Otherwise people won’t have anything to root for. Practically speaking, Emma’s a smart girl and she’s a practical girl, and so she wouldn’t jump into a relationship with a man that’s technically not even separated.” (

Simon Cowell Leaving American Idol!!

First Paula, now Simon.

At the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour in Pasadena, Calif., American Idol judge Simon Cowell announced that he is leaving the show to focus on a new talent search, The X Factor.

“The X Factor will launch in 2011,” Cowell told reporters Monday. “Because of that, this will be my last season on American Idol.”

Cowell, who launched The X Factor in the U.K., will serve as the executive producer and judge of the American version, according to a press release from FOX.

“I’m thrilled that we have put a date on the launch of the U.S. version of The X Factor, and delighted to be continuing to work with FOX,” Cowell said in a statement. “We have a fantastic relationship, a great team and are all very excited about this.”

Paula Abdul, the first American Idol judge to leave the show, announced her departure with a tweet last August. She has been replaced by Ellen DeGeneres.

As for whether Abdul could be a judge on the new show, Cowell said, “I adore Paula. Whatever happens, I will be working with her in some capacity. Because I miss her.”

Victoria Beckham Takes the American Idol Hot Seat!!

Victoria Beckham will join the American Idol judges’ panel when the show takes the talent search to Boston for its season premiere, airing Tuesday (8 p.m. EST) on FOX. The former Spice Girl will return for the Denver auditions, airing Feb. 2.

“It was very exciting to be asked to do Idol,” Beckham says. “[My husband] David and the boys are all big fans of the show. It was a real privilege to be a part of something so huge!”

As for working with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, Beckham says, “Everybody was very nice. I’ve known Simon for many years. Kara and Randy were very sweet. I have a lot of respect for them all as individuals and together they are a great team. I enjoyed working with and getting to know Kara — she’s a real girl’s girl, like me. We went for dinner and she seems like a genuinely nice, down-to earth-girl. I felt each of the four of us brought a different role to the auditions and we complemented each other.” (read more)

Fox has announced the network has picked up a second season of "Glee" along with the news it will hold a nationwide open casting call beginning in February. The series returns with all-new episodes Tuesday, April 13:

FOX has ordered a second season of the genre-defying comedy GLEE, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. GLEE has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon boasting winning ratings, critical acclaim, a rabid fan base of "GLEEks," two certified Gold albums and more than 4 million song downloads. "The show is a true and rare gem in television. We couldn't be more proud of what Ryan Murphy and the GLEE team have created so far, and can't wait to see what they come up with for Season Two."
