Lady Gaga's Go-To Guy, RedOne!!
The Morocco-born producer/writer RedOne, whose real name is Nadir Khayat, is an overnight success story 15 years in the making. This week, he’s riding high, with four Grammy nominations for his work on Lady Gaga’s hit The Fame CD, including Record and Song of the Year nods for “Poker Face,” one of a number of songs he wrote and produced, including “Just Dance,” “Boys Boys Boys,” “Paper Gangsta,” “Money Honey” and the latest single, “Bad Romance.” He’s also in possession of Michael Jackson sessions he did with the superstar in Las Vegas, and his name is being bandied about for a track on the next U2 album.Now 37 years old, RedOne moved to Sweden when he was 18, earning a Grammy award in that country before getting his big break when “Bamboo,” his mash-up of Shakira and Wyclef’s “Hips Don’t Lie” was chosen as the “official melody” for FIFA’s 2006 World Cup final, where the two performed the song for more than 1.2 billion people worldwide. His stateside career took off after producing Kat Deluna’s “Whine Up” featuring Elephant Man, a #1 dance hit. It was his Grammy nomination last year for Gaga’s “Just Dance” that prevented Lady from getting a Best New Artist nod last year, but he doesn’t seem to mind too much. (read more)

Carrie Underwood Gets Engaged!!
Carrie Underwood is getting married! "I'm happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier," her rep tells PEOPLE. "No wedding date has been set at this time."
The Ottawa Senators player spoke about the happy event on Monday, according to the Toronto Sun.
"It's true," he is quoted as saying. "We're both obviously excited and very happy."
Fisher, 29, reportedly proposed at his home Sunday afternoon and then sent messages to his friends with the good news later that day.
"I love you so much!" she wrote. "You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day."

Brittany Murphy Dies at 32!!
Brittany Murphy died of cardiac arrest early Sunday morning, after her mother had found her unconscious in the shower, according to a report by TMZ. The actress was 32.It is reported that a call went out to 911 from Murphy's Los Angeles home at 8 a.m. Attempts to revive her were not successful, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
In addition to The White Hotel and Clueless, the Atlanta-born Murphy costarred in 8 Mile and Riding in Cars with Boys.
In May of 2007, she married her White Hotel director, Simon Monjack.
Before meeting the British writer-director, Murphy had been engaged twice. She split with best-boy grip Joe Macaluso in August 2006, and ended her engagement to Jeff Kwatinetz, CEO of the Hollywood talent agency The Firm, in 2004.
She previously dated Ashton Kutcher, her costar in 2003's Just Married. On Sunday he Tweeted, "see you on the other side kid ... 2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."
