DJ AM Found Dead in New York City!!
DJ AM has been found dead in his New York City apartment.Det. Brian Sessa tells PEOPLE that at 5:20 p.m. on Friday New York Police Department officers entered an apartment on Lafayette Street in response to a 911 call about a man who hadn't been seen for two days. Inside, they found the body of a white male in his 30s. Another police source confirmed to PEOPLE that the dead man was DJ AM.
The cause of death has not been released by the medical examiner, although N.Y.P.D. Deputy Commissioner Paul Browne said there was no apparent evidence of foul play. A police source said prescription drugs were found in the apartment.
Goldstein's publicist released a statement Friday confirming the news of his death. "The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time," the statement says.
DJ AM (real name: Adam Michael Goldstein) was 36. He had a near brush with death in a 2008 jet crash with Blink 182's Travis Barker.
"There's no reason why I lived and they didn't," DJ AM said last month at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, referring to the others who died in the crash. "It's something that I struggle with every day, you know, kind of wondering. But I’ve just realized I'm never really going to know. I'm alive, and I'm here, and I have another chance. So I have to do something better with my life this time." (read more)

First Look at New Moon's Evil Volturi!!
In New Moon, the second installment in Stephenie Meyer's wildly popular Twilight saga, readers are first introduced to the ancient ruling class of vampires known as the Volturi. Determined to capture their creepy menace for his screen version opening Nov. 20, New Moon director Chris Weitz has given them custom-crafted blood-red eyes. "They're all hand-painted, specially manufactured contacts," Weitz tells PEOPLE. "They're opaque red, almost like preying mantis eyes. You can't really see into them. There's something terribly off-putting about it."

British actor Michael Sheen (The Queen) plays Aro, leader of the Italian blood-sucking clan. Although Aro and his brothers Marcus (Christopher Heyerdahl) and Caius (Jamie Campbell Bower) have been "alive" for thousands of years, Weitz says he "deliberately" gave them a younger look in the film – for which he credits author Meyer.
"Stephenie was very keen to steer away from a kind of wizard-y look for the vampires," says Weitz. "They do look quite young, but they convey a formality and self-possession, which comes from age."
Perhaps most lethal of all the Volturi is Jane (Dakota Fanning), an angelic-looking vampire who inflicts physical torture on her victims. "She is very strange and very spooky in this movie," says Weitz. "I think [Dakota] wanted to play an evil character for once."| Reactions: |

Sneak Peek of Seinfeld Cast Reunion!!
Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer – also known as Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards – are reuniting this season on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, which stars Seinfeld co-creator Larry David and kicks off Sept. 20.But first, the old gang came together to pose for the cover of Entertainment Weekly, which goes on sale Friday.
How was it slipping back into character for the cast of the former Must-See NBC show that passed permanently into Rerun Heaven in 1998?
"I said to Jerry and Julia, 'I don't know if I can be George. I haven't tried him on in a while,' " insisted Alexander. "And it was freaky how it just came right back out."
Richards, not unexpectedly, took to the task with even less anxiety. "I'd always kept Kramer's shoes," he says. "Once I got those shoes on, and I'm standing behind the door of Jerry's apartment, I was ready."
But wait, there's more. Although the original Seinfeld set was kept in a warehouse – including the backdrops for Jerry's apartment and Monk's coffee shop – it turns out something was missing: the front door to the apartment, which Seinfeld took as a souvenir.

Evan Rachel Wood Coy About Vampire Queen’s Sexuality on True Blood!!
When Evan Rachel Wood makes her debut on True Blood Sunday night, don’t be surprised to see her hook up with any of the characters on the show. She’s playing 1,100-year-old Queen Sophie-Anne, who is decidedly open to trying new things. “She’s not necessarily a lesbian,” Wood tells EOnline.com. “Her human partner is a girl, but I’m pretty sure she goes both ways. I think vampires are like that in general.”Wood promises that Queen Sophie-Anne’s love life will be unpredictable. “I don’t know if I am having sex with anyone yet,” she says, “but I certainly have a steamy scene with someone that I don’t think you’d really expect.”
The best part about guest starring on True Blood: the sexy costars. “That’s another great thing about my job,” Wood says with a laugh, “I was surrounded by beautiful people constantly.”
Despite the show’s trademark nude scenes, Wood hasn’t yet stripped down for the role, but she’ll never say never. “They are bringing me back next season, so it’s always a possibility,” she says. “It’s kind of inevitable.”

Chace Crawford's 'Interview' Photoshoot!!
Chace Crawford, the star of Gossip Girl and the upcoming Footloose remake adopts a tough-yet-stylish '50s persona in new photos in the September issue of Interview magazine.Going against type is refreshing for Crawford, who's traditionally been cast in clean-cut roles, he says: "It's good to switch things up. I did all of this stuff early, and they always wanted the same thing, the same look, the same deal, and I'd think, 'That's not what it's about.' "
Crawford is branching out with his acting, playing a drug dealer in Twelve and getting his funk on with Footloose. The latter involves changing his physical type, too.
"I'm going to try to get shredded," he says. "And my flexibility has already gone up like double. ... There's some kickboxing, some Muay Thai. And I'm learning fundamentals like breakdancing."
So far, he tells the magazine, the Footloose preparations are going well. "I am confident because I knew I had rhythm and I'm athletic," Crawford says. "I know I have rhythm, I have it in my brain. And I'm a quick learner."

Backstreet Boys Return with 'Straight Through My Heart'!!
Backstreet Boys have announced the release of their new album, 'This Is Us' set for an October 6th release on Jive Records. 'This Is Us' is the seventh studio album from the chart topping group that broke music and concert sales records, and launched a new generation of teen idols. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean collaborated with a suite of producers and songwriters on 'This Is Us' that included T-Pain, Max Martin, RedOne, Soulshock and Karlin, Jim Jonsin and Claude Kelly. The end result is an R&B and pop album from four talented musicians who love what they do and who maintain the rare relevance in an industry that often disposes of pop acts.
The 11 songs that make up 'This Is Us' are the sounds of four singers with a similar vision, who have dealt with the trials and tribulations that accompany fame at an early age and who came out as one of the most successful groups of all time. From the undeniable dance floor ready lead single, “Straight Through My Heart” to the reflective soar of “Bigger,” from the hook crazy “Bye Bye Love” to the romantic yearning of “She’s A Dream,” 'This Is Us' shows remarkable growth as songwriters and continues to give us songs that has made millions smile.
