New 'G.I. Joe:The Rise of Cobra' Character Posters!!
Paramount Pictures has debuted six new character posters for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, coming to theaters on August 7. Directed by Stephen Sommers, the action-adventure stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Ray Park, Said Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid. The posters feature (in the following order) Duke (Tatum), Ripcord (Wayans), The Baroness (Miller), Scarlett (Nichols), Snake Eyes (Park), and Storm Shadow (Lee)
Justin Timberlake and Paul McCartney are Grammy Bound!!
The high-wattage lineup for the 2009 Grammy Awards continues to brighten. Paul McCartney and Justin Timberlake are now scheduled to perform at the Feb. 8 show – not to mention a few surprises.
Timberlake will perform with rapper T.I., while McCartney will team with Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl. Also, Radiohead will be making its first live TV performance in nearly nine years.
A week after she'll deliver the National Anthem at the Feb. 1 Super Bowl – which will mark her first appearance since the October murder of her family – three-time nominee Jennifer Hudson is also expected to perform on the show.
Other scheduled Grammy performers and presenters include Carrie Underwood, Coldplay, the Jonas Brothers, Kenny Chesney, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne.
The 51st Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Celebrates His 29th Birthday!!
Tiers of tasty cupcakes. Check. Rock star blow out. Yep. All of your closest pals. Of course! Nick Carter got exactly what he wished for at his 29th birthday bash. After all, he is Mr. I-Want-It-That-Way. Donning an AC/DC vintage t-shirt on his newly svelte body, Carter celebrated downstairs at the Key Club in Hollywood Monday night. Backstreet buds Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean – taking a break from recording their upcoming album – even came by for a mini reunion to surprise their friend.
"They shut off all the lights and did a surprise for Nick downstairs early in the night," says an onlooker. "They all yelled surprise and they had cupcakes for him."
Little bro, Aaron, hung out with the birthday boy in the VIP section where guests, including former 'N Sync singer J.C. Chasez, enjoyed a tower of Sprinkles cupcakes and jammed to a live performance by the house band, Steel Panther.
"Nick was good. He and his friends were just laughing up a storm in their VIP booth," adds the source of the group.
The high note of the evening hit when the birthday boy jumped on stage for an impromptu performance.
"He sang 'Don't Stop Believin' by Journey like everyone does. The crowd was egging A.J. on to get up on stage but he wouldn't do it," says the source adding, Carter "looked like he had a great time."
Kelly Clarkson in Her New Music Video!!
Kelly Clarkson already released her latest song "My Life Would Suck Without You" to radio stations – and now the pop star is readying the music video. In still photos from the video, the singer looks sexy and svelte in an open tailored jacket and leather pants. A sneak peek of the video will premiere Wednesday Jan. 28 during a commercial break on American Idol, the show where Clarkson kicked off her career.
After the clip airs on FOX, fans will have a chance to check it out online for 24 hours on AT&T's official Web site (att.net), or by texting "Kelly" to 8008 on their AT&T mobile devices.
The uptempo tune – already a hit for Clarkson – is the first single from her album All I Ever Wanted, due in stores March 17.

Where Does 'Underworld' Turn Now?
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans propels fans of the franchise way back before the events of the first two entries to establish the friction between the vampire race and the Lycans. It not only provides a modicum of closure to some unanswered questions but it also fulfills the vision of Len Wiseman, co-creator and director of the previous films.ShockTillYouDrop.com caught up to Wiseman at the red carpet premiere of the new film (on which he serves as producer) tonight to ask...where does Underworld go now? One could say the narrative can push forward following the events after Underworld: Evolution. Or, Wiseman and company could play around in the years between Lycans and the first picture.
"We'll see what happens with this one," Wiseman says. "They're now a bit more open. There was always a hope that there were three films we could tell - so we've completed that trilogy we've talked about. There are many places we can go. If people are willing to go back, they're willing to go forward."
Well, that sounds like we might see more of Selene and Michael. "I'm kind of flirting with ideas of what would take place in the future. I'm just glad people are accepting that we can jump around in the time line and people are interested. Hopefully they'll be willing to accept different stories because the characters are there and they're immortal. It would be fun to go forward again."

Possessing the ability to numb a victim's senses, quiet but deadly Alec could be well-played by Tom Felton, best known as Harry Potter's foe Draco Malfoy. Some other suggestions? High School Musical's Lucas Grabeel could follow his serious turn in Milk with an even darker one as the bloodsucker. Brody Jenner & Girlfriend Like to Stay Home!!
Brody Jenner may be known as a Hollywood hunk with a habit of club-hopping and playing the field, but those days are over, he says – now that he's dating Playboy's 2008 Playmate of the Year, Jayde Nicole. "We're completely smitten for each other," Jenner, 25, tells PEOPLE. "I'm loving life."
The couple, who've known each other (through one of Jenner's exes) for more than two years, had a bit of a false start when Jenner asked Nicole, 22, to meet him at a San Diego club, where he was hosting an event, and she didn't show up.
"I was totally heartbroken," he says. "I was very upset because I had a crush on her."
Now, they're a couple and Jenner attributes their success to knowing each other for so long. "The reason why I love this girl so much is because she knows me," he says. "She gets it ... She knows my background." (read more)

Britney Spears Prepares for 'The Circus'!!
Britney Spears is taking the next step in her comeback by getting ready to hit the road. In a series of new photos posted on BritneySpears.com, the singer – dressed in low-slung sweatpants and a barely-there cut-off T-shirt exposing her toned bod – is shown in rehearsals for her upcoming tour.
On March 3, Spears, 27, will hit the road for the first time in five years with her 27-city, North American The Circus Starring Britney Spears 2009 Tour, starting in New Orleans and guest-starring the Pussycat Dolls.
After a tough few years in which Spears got divorced, was hospitalized twice and has lived under the watchful eye of her father, Jamie Spears, she is back in fine form with a No. 1 album.
And her fans seem to be loving it. In December, 65 percent of readers who took a PEOPLE.com poll said the pop star is definitely ready for her close-up.

2009 Sundance Film Festival's Gay Preview!!
The most anticipated narrative feature film premieres at Sundance include:
From the creators of BAD SANTA (co-writer/directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa) comes what is sure to be the blockbuster gay movie of 2009. I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS is about a former Texas cop turned criminal (Jim Carrey) who falls in love with a fellow inmate (Ewan McGregor) in prison. The advance preview trailer makes it look like CHUCK & LARRY meets BROKEBACK. Since it’s premiering at Sundance, we’re feeling optimistic.
Shot in San Francisco’s Mission District Peter Bratt’s gay Latino drama, LA MISSION follows gay teen Jesse (Jeremy Ray Valdez) and his relationship with his tough guy Dad (Benjamin Bratt) who throws his son out of the house and then begins to grapple with his homophobia. The Bratt brothers were previously at Sundance with their uplifting road movie, FOLLOW ME HOME.
Keep an eye out as well for Stefano Tummolini’s Italian gay drama, ONE DAY IN A LIFE described in the Sundance catalog as: “a study of an ordinary day where an extraordinary thing happens—people are forced to slow down and become aware of the transformative pleasure of human contact.” (source)

After announcing several months ago that she would be the latest model for the Emporio Armani underwear line, the ads have finally come out. And the results are simply stunning — moody black-and-white portraits shot by Mert & Marcus that show the lithe mother of three lounging around an unmade bed in her barest essentials. Rumor has it that Posh is under contract with Armani through 2012, so get ready to see a lot of Posh in magazines and on billboards near you for the next few years. Cristiano Ronaldo Is Footballer Of The Year!!
Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded last night with FIFA's World Footballer of the Year 2008 title in a ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland. He also holds the Ballon d'Or for the European Footballer of the Year. So we can assume he's pretty good with a soccer ball. Ronaldo plays for Manchester United, and Portugal and recently destroyed his $200,000 Ferrari after crashing it while driving in a tunnel at the Manchester Airport. He managed to walk away without a scratch.

'Prison Break' Cancelled!!
"Prison Break" has completed its primetime sentence.The drama will end its run after four seasons this spring, Fox announced Tuesday morning. "Prison Break" returns to the net's sked on Friday, April 17 at 8 p.m. for a final lap.

Kate Winslet, Slumdog Millionaire Win Big at Globes!!
A breathless Kate Winslet, the first winner of the night at Sunday's Golden Globes – as best supporting actress for The Reader – proved to be a double winner by evening's end. She was also named best leading actress in the drama Revolutionary Road. As determined by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Winslet, along with Mickey Rourke, Colin Farrell, Happy-Go-Lucky's Sally Hawkins, the late Heath Ledger, Slumdog Millionaire, and Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona were the top winners in the film categories.
The HBO miniseries John Adams, AMC's Mad Men and NBC's multiple-winner 30 Rock took TV honors. (read more)

Dexter Siblings Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter Are Now Real-Life Spouses!!
Don't worry folks, it's legal. They may play brother and sister on Dexter, but in real life Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were lawfully wed on New Year's Eve, according to Hall's rep, Craig Bankey. The outdoor ceremony was held in Big Sur. Hall, 37, and Carpenter, 29, plan to appear together at this year's Golden Globes Awards on Sunday.
PEOPLE last caught up with Carpenter at the Emmys in September, where she answered the question, Who's the sexiest man alive? with ease: "Michael C Hall!," she said. "He's the sexiest man alive. He's one of the best we've got. He's an incredible talent and if anyone deserves accolades, it's him."
