Britney's Still Got It!!
Personal troubles or no, Britney Spears is still the hottest human being on Planet Earth, according to USA Today's annual Celebrity Heat Index, which measures how much exposure a star gets in print and online. Brit got more media attention than anyone else for 11 weeks this year, meaning she earned the top spot on the index for the second year in a row. That coverage included everything from her infamous breakdown last January to her best-selling album, just released on Dec. 2.
It's just another feather in Britney's cap, following her selection by PEOPLE readers as having the "best comeback" of 2008 as well as being the "most talked about celebrity."
Nipping at Spears's heels on the index were Angelina Jolie (No. 2), Jennifer Aniston (No. 3) and the man they have in common, Brad Pitt. Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith, meanwhile, dropped out of the Top 10 altogether.
Robert Pattinson, Blake Lively and Barack Obama made the index for the first time, and the divorce between Madonna and Guy Ritchie qualified as hottest breakup.
Online readers also said they wished they could get more of Reese Witherspoon and Patrick Swayze, who revealed he has pancreatic cancer in March.

Chace Crawford Pairs Up with Leona Lewis!!
Chace Crawford is adding another role to his resumé – the Gossip Girl heartthrob will star in singer Leona Lewis's video for her next single, "I Will Be," which was filmed Thursday in New York City. "He has speaking lines in the video as well as just appearing in it," a source tells PEOPLE, adding enthusiastically, "It will be the most anticipated video in January."
So how did the seemingly unlikely pair – both are 23, though she was born in London and he, in Texas – come together?
"Chace went to London a couple months ago for meetings and to promote Gossip Girl. He went to a party and ended up meeting Leona," the source reveals.
The two "hit it off and talk every once in a while and have become fast friends," the source adds.
The result? "A couple weeks ago Leona called Chace and asked if he would be in her next video. He obviously said yes."

Jennifer Aniston Strips Down for GQ Cover!!
Talk about your revealing interviews. Jennifer Aniston puts on a necktie and leaves the rest in the hamper for a provocative GQ cover and sassy interview that addresses rumors about John Mayer.
"I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question," the actress, 39, tells January's GQ (on stands Dec. 23).
Aniston also pokes fun at her recent swipe at Angelina Jolie.
"The funny thing is, people don't realize we all go away to The Hamptons on the weekends," jokes Aniston. "That'd be hysterical: I've got Zahara on my hip, and Knox ..."
As for her feelings about Mayer, 31, she says, "Honestly, did not know much about him before I met him. I'd heard ... you know, uh 'Your Body' – that song. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is. And it's just great to sit and be witness to that. It's kind of like, Whoa!"
Aniston's currently working on a film called Pumas, which she calls "sort of a female Wedding Crashers" about two "aspiring cougars."
"It is so a comment on the sexual double standard, and what's been ironic is how hard it's been to get this movie made," she says. "Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. They'd want to change it; they're saying, 'Oh, you can't do that, people just can't imagine you ..."
It's part of what she sees as a disturbing problem in Hollywood.
"Look, I think all women on some level just want to rage against the machine," she says. "There are too many movies out there that don't empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man. And you know, that's not my favorite theme."

Ricky Martin and his Twins!!
Meet Matteo and Valentino Martin! Born via surrogate in early August, Ricky Martin's 4-month-old twin boys make their debut in this week's issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.
A joyful Martin, 36, spoke candidly with PEOPLE at home in Puerto Rico about his desire t
o be a parent, the decision to seek the help of a surrogate and juggling caring for twins – he has no nanny!PEOPLE: Describe this time in your life
MARTIN: I'm so happy! Everything they do, from smiling to crying, feels like a blessing. Being a father feels amazing. This has been the most spiritual moment in my life.
How hands-on are you as a father?
I don't have a nanny. I'm doing this on my own because I don't want to miss a moment. I have a personal assistant who helps me, someone who takes care of me while I'm taking care of them, but I'm the one who changes the diapers, the one that feeds them, the one that bathes them, the one that puts them to sleep. For any parent, the first couple of months tend to get a little bit intense. (read more)

It's Official: Katie Holmes Is Broadway Gold!!
In a stunningly short amount of time, TomKat's apparently more red-hot half, Katie Holmes, has already helped the Broadway show, All My Sons, turn a profit. The show's producers officially announced today that the revival of Arthur Miller's play has entirely made back its $3.25 million investment. In Hollywood terms, Holmes just became Broadway box-office gold. And her buzz-worthy touch was sorely needed.
"When everything is closing around her," remarked a star in one of the many Broadway shows expected to shut its doors next month, "this is a spectacular feat—of course, it's not just her, it's [costars] John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest, but no one will say that."(read more)

T.R. Knight Asks to Leave Grey’s Anatomy!!
Seattle Grace is about to lose another doctor. Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight, who has played lovable intern George O’Malley since the show’s debut, has asked producers to write him off the hit medical drama.
While details of his exit have yet to be ironed out, a source close to the situation says that it seems likely Knight’s request will be granted and he will be released from his contract.
Recent reports that Knight has not been attending table-reads for upcoming episodes or that he had walked off the set and cleaned out his dressing room are inaccurate, a rep for Knight tells PEOPLE: “He has been there every day. He was at a table read yesterday. He hasn’t said goodbye to anyone.” The rep had no further comment on his possible exit.
Of speculation that Knight was still upset about former cast member Isaiah Washington’s alleged use of a homophobic slur about him — which prompted Knight to reveal he was gay, and which some felt series creator Shonda Rhimes took too long to rectify with Washington’s dismissal — a source familiar with Grey’s says it is false.
“The Isaiah stuff has no relevance at all,” says the source. “T.R. doesn’t even know why people would mention it. It was so long ago.”
So why does Knight, who remains a fan favorite, want to leave?
“Have you seen the show lately?” says the source. Knight has received little screen time this season, with the show focusing on controversial storylines like the romance between Katherine Heigl’s Izzie and her long-dead lover, Denny.
“It’s time to move on,” says the source. “It just feels like this is the right time to go.”
News of Knight’s possible exit comes after Grey’s made headlines last month when actress Brooke Smith, who played Dr. Erica Hahn, was abruptly let go from the show.
ABC had no comment.| Reactions: |
Britney's 'Circus' is # 1!!
As expected, Britney Spears' "Circus" makes a big bow at the top of The Billboard 200, becoming her fifth No. 1. The Jive set moved 505,000 copies in the United States, making Spears the only act in Nielsen SoundScan history to have four albums debut with 500,000 or more.Since SoundScan began tracking data in 1991, only four acts -- aside from Spears -- have notched three 500,000-starts: 2Pac, 50 Cent, Garth Brooks and Jay-Z.
Previously, her second, third and fourth sets all racked up half-million weeks: 2000's "Oops! I Did It Again" started with 1.3 million, 2001's "Britney" debuted with 746,000 and 2003's "In the Zone" entered the chart with 609,000. Among female artists, only four have earned more No. 1 albums: Barbra Streisand (eight), Madonna (seven) and Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson (both with six).
On the Billboard Hot 100 to be released tomorrow, Spears scores her first top 10 debut as the set's title cut debuts at No. 3. The song, which she performed live on ABC's "Good Morning America" the day "Circus" hit retail, opens at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs with 212,000 downloads. With her former No. 1 single "Womanizer" at No. 10 on the Hot 100, Spears places two tracks simultaneously in that chart's top 10 for the first time in her career.

world AIDS day 2008!!
Twenty-one years ago, a summit of health ministers realised that a united global effort was required to halt the spread of HIV. As a result, World AIDS Day emerged as the first international health day in December 1988.The aim of World AIDS Day is to bring to people's attention the worldwide challenges and consequences of the epidemic - ultimately halting the spread of HIV and improving the lives of people living with the virus.
Each year the campaign is an opportunity for organisations throughout the world to highlight the HIV pandemic in order to raise awareness and bring about change.
