Amy Poehler Gives Birth to Baby Boy!!
Comedians Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have welcomed their first child, a boy. Archie Arnett was born on Saturday and weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz., their rep Lewis Kay said in a statement.
"Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably," Kay said.
During the "Weekend Update" segment of Saturday Night Live, Poehler's co-anchor Seth Meyers announced to a cheering crowd: "Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby."
Poehler, 37, revealed in April that she and Arnett, 38, were expecting.
"I've been very lucky," Poehler told PEOPLE in July. "I’m feeling good, and I’m just overwhelmed with blessings."
Meyers recently told PEOPLE that the cast was thrilled about the baby. "We're all excited for her," said Myers. "I think she's going to be a great mom."
Besides welcoming the new member of the family, Arnett will star with Kristen Bell in the big-screen comedy When in Rome, and Poehler – who is leaving SNL this year – will return to NBC in the spring as the star of an as-yet-untitled primetime comedy.

Jennifer Hudson's Mother and Brother Fatally Shot!!
Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were the two victims of a fatal shooting in Chicago, the actress's publicist says. "We can confirm that there is an ongoing investigation concerning the deaths of Jennifer Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson," rep Lisa Kasteler tells PEOPLE. "No further comment will be made and the family has asked that their privacy be respected at this difficult time."
The victims' bodies were found by officers Friday in a South Side home listed in the name of Hudson's mother, and police say the shooting appeared to be related to a domestic disturbance.
Hudson's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, is missing. An Amber Alert has been issued for him.
"We are searching for a young boy from that address who is missing," says Chicago police spokesman Officer John Mirabelli.
A man authorities were searching for in connection with the shootings, identified as William Balfour, 27, has been taken into custody and is being questioned by authorities, the Associated Press reports. No charges have been filed.
According to the AP, police spokeswoman Monique Bond says police are talking to "a number of people in custody" but she declined to further elaborate.
Hudson, 27, the Oscar-winning actress from Dreamgirls and an American Idol alum, recently got engaged to boyfriend David Otunga. She stars in the current film The Secret Life of Bees.

Alyson Hannigan is Pregnant!!
Actress Alyson Hannigan is pregnant, her rep Megan Moss tells PEOPLE exclusively. The How I Met Your Mother star, 34, and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, 42, will welcome their first child this spring.
The couple met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer during the 1999-2000 season and were married at the Two Bunch Palms resort near Palm Springs, Calif., on Oct. 11, 2003.
On the big screen, Hannigan is famous for her role as band geek Michelle opposite Jason Biggs in the American Pie trilogy.
Justin Timberlake and Pals Raise $1 Million for Sick Kids!!
With a little help from his friends, Justin Timberlake put some extra coin in the pockets of Shriners' Hospitals for Children, an organization that provides medical care for kids in need. And what good friends: the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, 50 Cent, Leona Lewis, Adam Levine, Lionel Richie and Boyz II Men joined the "Sexy Back" star in Las Vegas, where Timberlake, 27, hosted a weeklong pro-celeb golf tournament, capped off by a charity concert and afterparty on Oct. 17.
How did Timberlake get such an eclectic group on the same stage? The old fashioned way, the singer tells PEOPLE.
"I actually wrote letters," he says, "I was old fashioned. I didn't have to stalk anyone."
The benefit golf match featured 40 golf professionals and 13 celebrities, including Josh Duhamel, Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard, George Lopez and fellow N'SYNCer Chris Kirkpatrick. Timberlake has singed a 5-year deal to host the tournament through 2012.
"I enjoy playing the game leisurely," says Timberlake. "I don't have any aspirations to take on Tiger [Woods] or anything. But I'd like to see this tournament get bigger, maybe get a few more celebrities out. Next year I might call in a few favors."

Dexter Renewed for Two More Seasons!!
Showtime has renewed its top-rated drama series "Dexter" for two more seasons, says The Hollywood Reporter.The premium cable network has ordered 12 episodes each for Seasons 4 and 5, with the fourth season set to go into production in the spring in Los Angeles.
"Dexter" stars Michael C. Hall as a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer.
John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Clyde Phillips and Charles H. Eglee serve as executive producers for Season 3. Michael C. Hall, Scott Buck and Melissa Rosenberg are co-executive producers.

Brad Pitt Gets in Gear for Tarantino War Movie!!
In Brad Pitt’s upcoming World War II movie, he plays a vengeance-seeking Nazi hunter – and he looks the part. The first portrait of Pitt’s character, Lt. Aldo Raine, in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (yes, the misspelling is intentional), was released Monday. Clad in tough-looking fighter gear, Pitt portrays the leader of the "Basterds," a group of Jewish-American soldiers who scalp and brutally kill Nazis.
Pitt’s character is described on Tarantino.info as not "your Warner Brothers 1950's WW2 hero … this is a hillbilly straight from the mountains of Tennessee."
Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their six children recently moved to a Berlin villa while he works on the controversial film.

Nelly Furtado is Married!!
Nelly Furtado's "Maneater" days are over. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada airing Friday night, the British Columbia-born singer confirmed that she married sound engineer Demacio "Demo" Castellon over the summer.
"We got married July 19th," she said. "I love it."
The singer continued, "It's a nice phase of my life."
Furtado, 29, recently sported a new diamond ring in Miami, sparking rumors that she had tied the knot.
"I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out," she said. "[I'm] trying to enjoy things a little more."
She also added, "I'm happy ... I'm excited about the future."
The newlyweds worked together on her 2006 album, Loose and were engaged last year.

'The Mentalist' Gets Full Season Order!!
CBS has given a full season order to its new drama "The Mentalist," the season's top new freshman series in viewers and adults 25-54."The Mentalist" is averaging 16.14 million viewers (No. 7 among all primetime programs), 5.3/12 in adults 25-54 and 3.8/09 in adults 18-49. "The Mentalist" is the #1 program in its Tuesday (9:00-10:00 PM) time period in viewers and adults 25-54.
"The Mentalist" stars Golden Globe Award nominee Simon Baker as Patrick Jane, an independent consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who has a remarkable track record for solving serious crimes by using his razor sharp skills of observation.

Spears Scores Record-Setting Hot 100 Jump!!
Another week, another record-breaking jump to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Britney Spears makes a near-maximum 96-1 rise with "Womanizer," returning to the top of the list for the first time since her debut single "...Baby One More Time" hit No. 1 in January 1999.This is the third time in the past two months that the mark for the biggest jump to No. 1 has been shattered. On the Hot 100 dated Sept. 6, T.I. soared 71-1 with "Whatever You Like" and last week he sprinted 80-1 with "Live Your Life."
Spears' single is spurred by first-week download sales of 286,000, the biggest opening-week tally by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003, besting Mariah Carey's take for "Touch My Body" by just over 200 units.
In between her nearly 10-year gap between No. 1s, Spears has placed four other top 10s on the Hot 100, the last being "Gimme More," the first single from her last set, "Blackout." That song jumped 68-3 last October with first-week download sales of 179,000. (source)
Britney Spears to Tour in 2009!!
Baby, one more time! Britney Spears will hit the road for a string of tour dates next spring, the trade journal Billboard reports.
The 2009 shows will be her major tour since 2004 – and her subsequent downward spiral.
The tour – which will include dates in the U.S. and abroad – is expected to include material from Circus, out Dec. 2. (That's Spears' 27th birthday.) She has already released a sexy video for "Womanizer," the first single off her new album.
Madonna and Guy Ritchie to Divorce?!?
Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are set to announce the end of their almost-eight-year marriage, it was claimed early Wednesday. In a front page story, Britain's The Sun newspaper claimed that the couple will be issuing a statement "imminently" on the demise of their often tempestuous relationship, which has been the subject of much speculation in recent months.
Contacted by PEOPLE, a rep for Madonna declined to comment on the story.
Madonna, 50, is in the midst of her Sticky and Sweet tour and is set to play Boston tonight. Ritchie, 40, was believed to be on the set of his latest film, Sherlock Holmes.
Reached at their home in London, his family declined to comment.
