JC Chasez 'Annoyed' with Chace Crawford Rumors!!
Former 'N Sync star JC Chasez says he's sick of online speculation that he and Chace Crawford are more than friends. "You know what, it's laughable the first time," he told PEOPLE at the live finale of Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew. "I think the tenth time, it gets annoying."
Chasez and Gossip Girls star – most recently linked to Carrie Underwood – have been spotted together a lot recently (from Elton John's post-Oscar bash to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel this past weekend) – prompting talk of a possible romance.
"I don't care about [people's] assumptions or anything, but when people outright lie, that's wrong," said Chasez. "So I think that part of the rumor is outright stupid."
The 31-year-old – who previously dated Eva Longoria – added, "The fact of the matter is I'm a straight guy and I'm allowed to have [guy] friends."

4 More Enter Joss Whedon's 'Dollhouse'!!
Tahmoh Penikett, Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman and Enver Gjokaj have joined Joss Whedon's new TV series "Dollhouse" says The Hollywood Reporter.The four join Eliza Dushku on the 20th Century Fox TV-produced drama, which received a seven-episode order shortly before the strike.
The seven-episode Fox TV-produced drama revolves around a group of young men and women, aka "Dolls," who are imprinted with different personalities for different assignments.
They have no memories of their previous lives, until Echo (Dushku) begins to try to find out who she was.
Penikett will play Paul Smith, an FBI field agent obsessed with the urban myth of Dollhouse and a twisted romantic foil for Echo.
Kranz will play Topher Brink, a twentysomething genius programr responsible for imprinting the dolls.
Lachman will play Sierra, a doll like Echo and her friend, who has every personality in the world but her own.
Gjokaj will play Victor, also a doll and a friend of Echo's, who is childlike when he's inactive, and everything from Errol Flynn to young DeNiro when he's active.

Britney Spears Earns HIMYM Its Highest Rating Ever!!
Britney Spears’s return to television has scored big with some critics — and in the ratings. Monday’s episode of How I Met Your Mother featuring the pop star earned the CBS comedy its highest rating ever — netting a 4.5 preliminary rating among adults 18-49, according to the Hollywood Reporter. That means about 10.6 million viewers tuned in to watch Spears, making Mother the fourth-highest-rated show of the evening.

Mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears is sporting some sparkling new jewelry – an engagement ring from fiancé Casey Aldridge. Spears, 16, has been flashing the rock to friends and family around Louisiana and Mississippi, a source close to the family tells PEOPLE.
"She's got an engagement ring," the source says. "She's been showing it off, talking about it."
Spears and her 18-year-old fiancé are expecting the baby this summer. No official word yet on a wedding date for the couple.

The Beckhams' Weekend - Hot Double Date & Museum Trip!!
David and Victoria Beckham looked like newlyweds when they tucked into a table at Los Angeles's STK with fellow Brit Kate Beckinsale and her husband, Len Wiseman, for a double date Friday night. "Posh was giggling and laughing the whole time," says a fellow diner. "They looked totally normal, not really paying attention to anyone else but just focused on catching up and enjoying each other."
Adds another restaurant patron: "David is still really attentive to her. Her had his arm around the back of her chair and would whisper in her ear. She was beaming, the fire is still there, you can just tell."
On Easter Sunday, Victoria was spotted (sans her hot hubby) checking out the exhibits at the Getty Center Museum in Los Angeles with their three sons: Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3. Beckinsale, Wiseman and their daughter, Lily, 9, joined them.

Kate Walsh to ‘Start Some Trouble’ on Grey’s!!
Seattle Grace’s finest are ready make their rounds again. The cast of Grey’s Anatomy goes back before the cameras this week, and the prognosis has the desirable doctors immediately knee-deep in drama. Executive producer and creator Shonda Rhimes tells PEOPLE that the first “Oh my God!” moment will come “probably five minutes into the first episode.” What else can you expect? Well, Addison’s on her way back and Meredith and McDreamy may finally have a happy ending.
Rhimes, as well as Kate Walsh, Sara Ramirez and Chyler Leigh, stepped out over the weekend to attend the American Red Cross of Santa Monica’s annual Red Tie Affair at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel.
“It’s time for her to get over her issues,” Rhimes said of her decision to bring the Mer-Der pairing together after McDreamy was tempted away by a not-so-neurotic nurse. “Either Meredith and Derek should be together by the end of the season or she should make it on her own, and I kind of felt like what I want to see is what happens after — after the happily ever after.”
Rhimes said stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are pleased with the new direction for their on-again, off-again couple, and “very intrigued to see what’s going to happen and how we’re going to do it.”
Meanwhile, with Grey’s spin-off Private Practice not slated to start shooting until May, star Kate Walsh has the time for her character Addison to head back to her old stomping grounds for an episode. “I’m coming for a little visit — gonna start some trouble,” Walsh told PEOPLE.(read more)Thursday, March 20, 2008

Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean Goes Solo!!
Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean put tickets on sale Tuesday for two sneak-preview solo concerts this coming Sunday and Monday in the Los Angeles area. On Sunday, McLean will play the House of Blues in Anaheim; and on Monday the famous Roxy on L.A.'s Sunset Strip.
"After 13 years with the Backstreet Boys, and 75 million records sold worldwide, A.J.'s excited to take a step out on his own and present his music, in his style," his manager, Eric Podwall, tells PEOPLE. "He's excited to connect to his fans on a one-on-one basis at smaller venues – something you can't do in large arenas – and to give them a taste of some of the music that will appear on his first solo record later this year."
McLean's record, expected to be released toward the end of the year, will include songs such as "What If," "I Hate It When You're Gone," "London," and "Drive-By Love," a tune that McLean has already been singing at Backstreet Boys shows.
Following his own two shows, as well as the Backstreet Boys' European tour wrapping up May 14, McLean is set to play a series of solo shows in small venues throughout Europe before returning the States to continue working on the record.
But Backstreet Boys fans need not fret. A source also confirms that McLean is planning to record another album with the group next year.

Dame Maggie Smith Fighting Breast Cancer!!
Dame Maggie Smith, most recently world-renowned for her portrayal of Professor McGonnagall in the Harry Potter films,is reportedly battling breast cancer.Writes England’s Daily Mail:
Dame Maggie is said to have insisted on going ahead with filming the latest installment of the hit [Potter] series last month even though she was undergoing radiation therapy at the time.
“She is dealing with it in her typically brave and understated way,” one of her friends told the Mandrake column.
“She has had a tumour removed and subsequently completed a course of chemotherapy.
“This was precautionary and the prognosis looks good. The last thing she wants to do is to make a fuss about it.”

Ryan Phillippe knows he's got it good. "My kids are great," the actor – who split with wife Reese Witherspoon in 2006 – told reporters Sunday at the Stop-Loss press day in Beverly Hills. "[I'm] writing right now ... I finished [Franklyn], a really cool film in London, at the beginning of the winter. And yeah, man, no complaints."
But that doesn't mean life is perfect. In fact, like all single parents, Phillippe said he struggles to balance professional obligations with being a dad to daughter Ava, 8, and son Deacon, 4.
"You feel like a bad father," the 33-year-old admitted. "Last night, I got home exhausted ... At the end of a press junket, literally you don't want to talk anymore. And I felt like a mute father."
Although he made dinner for the kids and tried to be energetic, "We just ended up in my bed watching Nancy Drew," Phillippe said.(read more)

Ryan Seacrest Crowned King of All Media by Details!!
For the second year in a row, Ryan Seacrest lands a spot on Details magazine's "Maverick" list of the 22 big thinkers shaping the world. This year the 33-year-old American Idol-E! News-On Air KIIS-FM host also lands the cover! Seacrest, who appears on the annual list with SNL star Amy Poehler, Oscar-winning Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody, and Amy Winehouse's Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson, calls himself a "content provider," while the publication dubs him, "the new King of All Media."
In accepting the honor, Seacrest tells the magazine of his busy, "planned-to-the-second" schedule, "I'm tired, but I'm used to it. You know when you watch video screenings and there's a time code in the corner? I have dreams about time codes."
